Food and service is great and reasonably priced. Good place to take the family for pizza and Calzones. Location is easy to get in and out of.

You would think on Friday and Saturday nights your hours would be later then during the week. Food is great. The hours just suck.

Good atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed eating out on then patio. The pizza was good, and came out quickly. We ordered the meat lovers and while it was good, we'll likely order just pepperoni and cheese next time as the bacon and ground beef weren't the best. I really wish they had a buffalo chicken pizza. We will come back again.

We have been coming here off and on since it opened. Usually passable. Tonight I ordered a calzone and it was disgusting. Basically pizza crust stuffed with about 2 lbs of ricotta cheese. What, did they run out of mozzarella? Seriously, it was barely edible.

House salad was so-so. I ordered the chicken parm. It tasted like prepackaged chicken but sauce and cheese were good. Kids got pizza which was very good. Great place for kids. Service was quick.

I've gone to the Waldorf location a few times so I was excited to see that it was coming to Prince Frederick. I finally got to go and I ordered myself a calzone with ham in it. When I cut into it the whole thing seemed to have been made out of ricotta and mozzarella cheeses with a slice of sandwich meat ham. That is not what I expected to receive from an Italian restaurant. On a brighter note my 5 year old seemed to like the spaghetti.

Walked over from the hotel where I was staying for a late meal. At the counter, the decision was tough. The garlic and tomato smell was strong, so I opted for their lasagna and got a seat outside. A few minutes later, a salad that was mostly lettuce (meh, but that wasn't the point of the meal) arrived with a packet of dressing. Another basket with garlic break and that was quite good - hot and buttery. And then the lasagna arrived. Piping hot and steaming, I had to wait a bit to avoid scorching the inside of my mouth. Lots of cheese, lots of meat, lots of pasta. A good sized and very tasty serving. I was a little bummed that I'd eaten all the garlic bread already. *smile* Visit two was for two slices to go. Their pizza isn't thin crust but it's not thick crust either. Somewhere in between and certainly not the gigantic sized slices of NY style I prefer. But it was decent, if maybe a little doughy. Beer choices are limited to a few domestic bottled macro brews. A Peroni would go a long way here.

After reading all the reviews I expected the staff to be unfriendly and the atmosphere to be cold. I was pleased with the lady behind the counter, the menu is difficult to see and decipher so it pays to view the menu before arriving. We order the "Big One", it includes a 16" pizza, hot wings and Mozzarella sticks for $20 dollars, with small soft drinks and a been the price tag was $38.00.Considering that this place is just an average pizza joint make the drive from Solomon's a bad decision so if you're from Lusby or Lexington park go to Nicolette's it's a better value. Being from Temecula I'm still looking for an Italian restaurant like Felipe's here in Southern Maryland but I'm running out of places to try.

This was our third trip to the restaurant (the other times were so-so and didn't leave a negative impression in my memory), and also our last trip. Couple pieces of advice to the owner: 1. Restaurant employees, regardless of physical location within the building (including order-taker at front counter), should not wear flip flops. Besides the safety issue, it's just gross. 2. Take $100 and invest in those little metal stands that display an order number at the tables. The server (and I use that term loosely) was asking tables what their numbers were so they could figure out where to deliver. That's just dumb. 3. When you are hiring these young women to deliver food, try to pick the ones that don't hate their customers for being there. When she came to our table yesterday she was so annoyed that she plunked our food down on the table with an attitude and then walked away. If we needed anything else, too bad for us. If we had any questions, too bad for us. 4. Old iceberg lettuce + spanish olives + pink tomatoes + 4 pounds of white onion do not a salad make. If you're going to offer a salad with the entrees than at least make it edible. Or charge extra for a decent salad. 5. Clean that carpet!! It's horrible. And the condition of the restrooms was equally bad. As far as the food itself (besides the salad), the cheese on my baked ziti was suspiciously off-center and folded under my pasta which makes me think it was re-plated for some reason and it made me wonder. The ziti and the red cream sauce were mushy like mashed potatoes. My husband had the veal which was virtually tasteless and he was convinced that the pasta sauce was actually their pizza sauce. Overall, a solid "2" and the "2" is only for speed of service. It was fast.

Tasty pizza, good sandwiches and very fine service. My family and I have been here many a time and have never had anything less than a good experience.

Based on the food, 4 solid stars. based on the service 6 stars, so average, 5 stars. The food came out FAST. The manager came over and told us we had been over charged at the register by $2.00. They took it off our bill. Piping hot food, tasty, these guys have got it going on.

Nice family oriented and casual place to eat lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and fare and portions are great. Have been there several times and it's consistently good.

THIS PLACE MADE ME SICK! Probably the incredibly greasy pizza combined with the questionable-quality sausage. I recommend that you avoid this place. It's not like there are no other pizza joints in Calvert County, and the other ones taste better and don't make you run for the bathroom.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
